Online Entry Process (2009-10)

All entries must be submitted online through Direct Athletics.
User names and passwords will come in an email from Direct Athletics. Unfortunately, the email does not have BBD anywhere in it so some of you may have deleted it thinking it was spam. If you get an email from Direct Athletics that has says “New Account Information for DirectAthletics” and starts out with “Your coach has created an account for you on DirectAthletics” that is the one you are looking for.
You need a separate account for each swimmer in your family and will have to log in separately to complete the entries for each of your swimmers.
User names and passwords will be e-mailed to all parents in late September and the date of the email will be posted on the BBD website. If you do not receive a Direct Athletics user ID, have forgotten your password, or have any other entry questions, email Susan Withrow at svarnerwithrow@comcast.net.
Make sure to read the entry packet posted on the website for each meet. The entry packet will tell you the entry deadline, the events that are offered for each age group each day of the meet as well as start times, pool addresses and the entry fee amounts.
Payment of entry fees. Approximately a week after the meet entry deadline your Thriva on-line registration account will be automatically debited for the entry fees. You will receive an email when this charge is made. All entries must be submitted online.

Team Stats Online

Check with Team Stats Online for BBD meet entry verification. After you have entered any meet this season, you should verify the entries on Team Stats Online (TSO); the link is available at the top of this page. Just click on the "TSO" link, click on "Entries" and then the meet you are checking. Be sure to check that events and entry times for your swimmer are correct. It's best to check as soon as entries are posted; any errors cannot be changed on the day of the meet. If you cannot find your swimmer, contact Susan Withrow at svarnerwithrow@comcast.net.

Note about Direct Athletics

The "Best Times" that are listed in Direct Athletics are the best times you have entered for your swimmer, not the actual best times they have achieved. To view actual best times you must go to the Schedule & Entries tab, click on Team Stats Online (TSO). Click on Athletes and search for your swimmer in the alphabetical list. Note: Q2 qualifying time. This is the last chance meet for swimmers seeking to qualify for the US 12 and Under Meet which is held the next weekend. Only those swimmers close to qualifying for that meet should attend.
